NTT DOCOMO Officially Launches Blockchain Game “GT6551” Adopting the Latest NFT Standard “ERC6551” on MetaMe

The completed version of NTT DoCoMo’s blockchain game "GT6551" was officially released on the meta-communication service "MetaMe", supported by the business co-creation company Relic, Inc., on April 23, 2025.

"GT6551" is a blockchain game developed by NTT Docomo that utilizes the latest NFT standard, ERC-6551, aggregating multiple NFTs into a single configuration to enable new functionalities. It is the first game in the world to adopt this structure.

GT6551 is a blockchain game developed by NTT Docomo that leverages the latest NFT standard, ERC6551. By utilizing the unique features of ERC6551, it is the world’s first blockchain game to aggregate multiple NFTs into a single unit and allow the customization of NFT functions through their combination.

The game’s core feature lets users freely combine multiple machine NFT items into a single racing machine—an NFT item itself—to create their own original racing machines. These customized racing machines can be held in the player’s personal collection (assets), generating new in-game value.

Moreover, to enhance strategic gameplay, a system has been introduced whereby items added to the racing machines boost their performance. This allows players to enjoy freedom and uniqueness while devising their own strategies.
