WEMADE officially releases the global version of the MMORPG "Legend of Ymir" on October 28, introducing a new system called "Participatory Management Server."

The South Korean online game development company WEMADE will officially release the global version of the new MMORPG 'Legend of Oub - Legend of YMIR' on October 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM.

In response to the PC and mobile platforms, we are setting up dedicated servers for various regions, including Asia, North America, Europe (NAEU), and South America (SA). Additionally, we are adopting new systems that can be related to user operations.

• From October 26th at 13:00, pre-download will begin, and it will be available for PC and mobile devices.

WEMADE Co., Ltd. (Daisuke Park, Kwan Ho, hereafter WEMADE) announced that the global service for the large-scale MMORPG "Legend of YMIR" will officially start on October 28, 2025, at 13:00 (Japan time).

Prior to the official service, the PC version will be available from the official site on October 26 at 13:00, while the mobile version will be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, allowing for pre-downloads.

This time, the global service will support PC and mobile cross-play, and will be available in multiple languages including Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Portuguese, and Russian, ensuring that users around the world can easily access the game. Additionally, the global server will operate under the same rules, providing a balanced play environment and a stable operating environment.

On the day of the official release, various regional servers and information related to participating type operators will also be made public. Major regional servers such as ASIA, NAEU, and SA will also include "Partners Server" and "Streamer Server," allowing users to participate in a new type of operator server system.

The "Legend of Oub: Ymir" is a new MMORPG that aims to break the mold of traditional MMORPG structures by introducing a "user-driven operational model." The current release includes "Partnering Sabers" and "Streamer Sabers," which allow users to directly engage with operators and participate in game operations and content creation.

In "Partnering Sabers," users can acquire operational rights through auctions, set operational guidelines, and develop their own community-centered operations. This represents a revolutionary structure that encourages new MMORPG generations to take on challenges. It will feature a system that promotes competition and collaboration, allowing users to engage in branding and profit generation. The operational rights for the Sabers are scheduled to be officially implemented on WEMIX PLAY starting October 16.

In "Streamer Sabers," a certain number of streamers with influence will participate, providing new community experiences centered around specific events and distribution-type contests.

The national and cyber battles will be expanded beyond the framework of the game "Legend of the Abyss". The main content will include "Cyber Warfare" and preparations for the directionality of that model.
The inter-server cyber warfare will be held for a duration of 2 weeks, providing a new competitive experience and opportunities for ranking. All players will represent their respective servers, and they will experience the true enjoyment of strategic battles and cooperative play.
The global player base will participate in a large-scale server battle, along with intense PvP, allowing players to truly feel the thrill of strategic combat.

The strongest saber selected through the Saber War is the Holy Grail of e-sports, a global tournament held in Hong Kong featuring the combat-type constructs "Yumikap." At this major event to determine the world's strongest saber, the WEMIX report and the name of the champion will be announced, marking the beginning of a new chapter in MMORPG competitions.

The "Legend of Oub Ymir" is a grand MMORPG set in a world that has fallen into chaos after the gods' descent, where warriors cut through their own fate and hierarchy. It features an incredibly realistic visual and tactile experience realized with Unreal Engine 5, along with unique battle styles that incorporate five classes (Berserker, Overlord, Scald, Paladin, and Archer), providing a high sense of immersion and excitement in combat. The dynamic combat offers a selection of elements for growth, and the moments of victory and defeat are determined by the player's decisions and actions.
