LINE NEXT Officially Releases the "Dapp Portal" on the LINE Messenger Platform, Aiming to Provide 1,000 Mini Dapps

LINE NEXT Inc., a group company of Yahoo! engaged in the Web3 platform business, announced on January 22, 2025, that it officially released the 'Dapp Portal' and 'Mini Dapp' platforms aimed at the global market, based on LINE Messenger. With this new service, users can enjoy Web3 experiences easily within LINE Messenger without installing specialized applications.

Dapp Portal is a platform that allows the use of Mini Dapps across various categories such as games, social media, healthcare, and more. At its initial release, 32 Mini Dapps were offered, and LINE NEXT aims to develop over 1,000 projects by the end of 2025. Additionally, the entry point to Dapp Portal is set in the home tab of LINE Messenger, and the provision of a web browser version is also planned.

LINE YAHOO's group company LINE NEXT Inc. (hereinafter LINE NEXT) will simultaneously release Mini Dapps (Mini Dapp) and Dapp Portal (Dapp Portal) platform based on LINE Messenger to users around the world on January 22, 2025.

Mini Dapp is a Dapp (Decentralized Application) based on the KAIA ecosystem, characterized by the ability to experience Web3 easily within the LINE Messenger without installing specialized apps. In Dapp Portal, not only can you easily search for and use Mini Dapps across a wide range of categories such as games, social media, and content, but you can also access individual Mini Dapps from their respective LINE official accounts. Additionally, LINE NEXT is planned to add user navigation paths that serve as gateways to Dapp Portal within the home tab of LINE Messenger.

Furthermore, by utilizing the wallet linked to LINE Messenger, you can earn rewards for using each Dapp, and you can acquire tokens and NFTs. The first 32 Mini Dapps to be released on the Dapp Portal have been developed by each builder based on the Kaia Wave program, which is jointly operated by LINE NEXT and the Kaia Foundation to support Web3 developers, and through the provision of the Software Development Kit (SDK) provided by LINE NEXT. The Mini Dapps include the following services.

• Developed by Pluto Studio, the mini app projects "Bombie" and "Cattea" have gained 43 million users in just six months and achieved top sales.

• The game "Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS- on LINE", featuring character sample manga based on the popular soccer manga "Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-".

• "Superz", a healthcare and wellness gateway Dapp that integrates fitness habits and rewards, suitable for users who do not use cryptocurrencies.

LINE NEXT aims to release over 1,000 attractive projects by the end of 2025.
