Seamoon Protocol Project Halted, Announces DMM Crypto

On November 15, 2024, DMM Crypto Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as DMM Crypto) announced the suspension of the 'Seamoon Protocol' project they had been promoting. Established in January 2023, they had been developing an economic zone concept utilizing their unique token, but the rapid changes in the current business environment have raised issues regarding the sustainability of the project, which is cited as the main reason for the suspension.

In June 2023, DMM Crypto announced an economic zone concept centered on providing entertainment services focused on blockchain games as part of the 'Seamoon Protocol.' They aimed for global expansion through strategic partnerships. However, they decided to terminate the project early due to difficulties in continuing it.

According to the announcement, the following measures are planned to be taken in light of the suspension:

1. Suspension of the issuance of the independent token "$SMP"
2. Suspension of new service applications for "SMP Platform"
3. Gradual cessation of services for the blockchain game "Kanpani☆Girls RE:BLOOM"

For existing users and community members, we plan to provide updates through official social media channels as well as contacting individuals separately. Information regarding the "Seamoon Protocol" will be gradually released on official X accounts (formerly Twitter) and Discord. Additionally, guidelines related to certain services are currently under discussion, and details will be announced as decisions are made.
Regarding "Kanpani☆Girls RE:BLOOM", refunds for unused portions of purchased shinestones and compensation for item categories are planned, with details to be announced on official sites and within the game.
