Star Atlas "Holosim Season 1 Chapter 2" launches with a $10,000 leaderboard reward and NPC-led story.

In the weekly development report No. 219 for the blockchain game "Star Atlas," the release of Holosim Chapter 2 is imminent, revealing significant progress in various areas, including the UE5-based Galia mode expansion and the implementation of the z.ink bridge. While incorporating trends in DAO voting and esports events, the current status as a long-term development title is organized from the perspectives of both investors and players.

Aephia Industries has announced in the 'Weekly Star Atlas Newsletter #219' that ATMTA is preparing a new development update for the game 'Star Atlas'. The preparations for Holosim Season 1 Chapter 2, the Galia mode retention using Unreal Engine 5, the progress of z.ink infrastructure, the status of DAO voting, and various developments in the game and ecosystem are all being confirmed.

Holosim Season 1 Chapter 2 is currently open.

The weekly development report for the game "Star Atlas" has been released as report number 219, providing updates on various topics during the development phase. Although there is no new feature announcement regarding the eye gem, several major system updates are nearing completion.

However, it is worth noting that preparations for the Holosim Season 1 Chapter 2 implementation are underway. Chapter 2 is not yet officially released, but positive feedback from the community regarding the dual approach of the combat system and combat trailer has been received, suggesting that the release date is not far off.

In Chapter 2, there will be an introduction of the Combat UI. The combat system and combat tracking functionalities are significantly enhanced, and the interface will allow players to directly grasp information during combat.

In Holosim, the zProfile integration is also progressing. Developer Jim is advancing the project to connect the z.ink subscription capabilities to the Holosim battle pass system, and the actual implementation within Holosim is being provided as xXP rewards alongside the ongoing development.

These aspects indicate that there is a high possibility of dynamic changes occurring at the time of Chapter 2's official release.

The development of Galia mode in UE5 has moved to the core of Open World.

Development of Galia's single-player mode based on Unreal Engine 5 is progressing steadily. According to Danny, the CPO of Star Atlas, the development of UE5 is shifting towards a more open world. The recent addition is the AI's dynamic gameplay features. In Unreal Engine's standard configuration, the Z-axis is utilized for vertical movement, but in the dynamic environment, the AI is required to add processing to naturally move the character upwards. Technically, there are some fundamental issues.

Brad, the Gameplay Engineer, has set up a base on the star side and publicly shared the implementation status. While there are active segments, there are still parts where the death character is floating into the void, and some areas still remain to be polished.

The constraints are ongoing on the content front. The latest patch has added a new Mining Hot Spot in Hecteria. NPC recruiters are maintaining the ARM Taps, and Jorvik's naval forces are set to conduct regular patrols.

Players can earn credits by engaging in naval operations. The prompt is to ensure that the same criteria are met for returning to the same area, which can be challenging.

Currently, the naval attack targets are limited to NPC recruiters, but Brad is clarifying that the AI movement is still under development. The navy is stocking supplies and equipment for the player fleet, and the strategy for determining attacks is still being refined.

Finally, regarding the Galia Expanse world view, the planning for distributing monsters and wildlife is also progressing. The player is being guided by critical elements of the hunting mechanics, which are being introduced into the visuals.

z.ink Infra is a major advancement in Solana bridge implementation.

In the DAO, the selection of contractors and funding proposals is progressing.

Currently, there are two POLIS Improvement Proposals (PIPs) in the Star Atlas DAO that are open for voting. The deadline is set for June 6, 2026.

PIP-27 is a proposal related to the initial selection of the DAO Casters Program. It is intended to select five candidates who will handle the information dissemination of the Star Atlas ecosystem. The voting method used is Single Transferable Vote (STV), and the top five out of thirteen candidates will be selected. The voting period is from April 1, 2026, to May 90, 2026.

Among the candidates in the voting process are Funcracker, Neo, Winston, Alices Arcade, and Odvb. Notably, one of the candidates, Chet Roberts, has withdrawn from the selection.

PIP-28 is a funding proposal for the continuation of Star Atlas's role creation and community activities. The proposer, ZeSKK, is a former member of ATMTA who has left their position, but they are still seeking funding to support the ecosystem.

The requested amount is a total of 3 million dollars, to be distributed in six installments of 500,000 dollars each. During the voting process, a 93.5% approval rate is required to pass the proposal, and support is strong. The funding will not only come from external treasury but also from the DAO ecosystem, and the final confirmation will require the agreement of CEO Michael Wagner.

Improvements in game production using UE5 Patch are actually progressing.

On February 26, the Star Atlas UE5 patch was released. This update mainly focuses on bug fixes and UI improvements.

In relation to Galia, the locations of the mining ships have been refreshed, and the system tier has been changed to a display that can be understood at a glance. Additionally, a Mining Hot Spot has been added to Hecteria, which is being showcased in this patch.

In Grapple, inconsistencies in the display of the sliding dynamics and minimap have been corrected, and adjustments regarding combat speed and other details have been introduced in the latest update. Furthermore, multiple inconsistencies in the functionality of the matchmaking and lobby have been resolved in this update.

The esports event and SAGE C4 test are also progressing.

The Komiyutai main event is also showing enthusiasm. The Komiyutai group Super Phoenix Sports has announced the Grand Prix tournament, and in the decisive battle, the Quimera team has taken the lead with a narrow margin over the Vanguard team.

Starting next week, there is a plan to begin the regional tournament that will last for four weeks, and it seems that the momentum is likely to continue.

On the development side, the internal test of SAGE C4 has been conducted for about one week. It is noted that the added test has been completed, and the schedule for the PTR public release is being closely monitored.

The completion level of Star Atlas is actually increasing.

Next week's report will show that the development of Star Atlas is progressing simultaneously with multiple layers. The implementation of Holosim, the Galia integration with UE5, the organization of z.ink infrastructure, and DAO operations—these are all ongoing activities.

Despite being a large-scale title, the game project, including the gameplay, economic infrastructure, and community governance, has become a unified structure.

The opening of Holosim Chapter 2, the z.ink maintenance, and SAGE C4 will continue in the coming months. For investors, the completion rate of the infrastructure is crucial, as it will become an important evaluation metric for the project.

Star Atlas, as a long-term development title, is moving towards a stage where game testing will be conducted based on a solid foundation.
