SO5 Fantasy is a card game where you form a team of five cards and earn points based on your player's performance in a real soccer match.
The player cards gain experience based on the outcome of the match and can become stronger.

You decide which league and division you want to join.

Each league has a limit on the number of cards you can assign to your team, and each division has its own PowerCap, so you need to build a team whose total CardPower does not exceed its PowerCap.

Watch the games that are being held to find out which division you can participate in with the cards you have.

Pick at least one goalie, one forward, one midfielder, and one defenseman each, and one other person to make a team.

For example, in Division 4, the PowerCap is set at 42, so you can choose 5 players with a CardPower of 8 or so, or you can choose 4 players with a minimum CardPower of 7.2 and one player with a CardPower of 14 who will definitely keep the score high. You can also make a team of four players with a minimum CardPower of 7.2, and one player with a CardPower of 14 who will definitely keep the score high.

If you designate someone as captain, you get a +6 CardPower bonus.
The CardPower bonus is not included in the PowerCap.

Players that can be teamed up must have a CardPower of up to 33% of the team's PowerCap.
In Division 4, with a PowerCap of 44, no card can have more than 44x33%=14.5.

The score is determined by the sum of each player's performance multiplied by a per-card multiplier (CardPower) and a bonus percentage.

The prizes include ETH and assets for each division of the league.
As you participate more and more, the top 10% and so on will receive a wide range of assets, so by making full use of the cards you receive at the beginning of the game, you may be able to get assets for free.

In the case of the image above, if you are in the top 10% and have more than 596 points, you will receive a Top Class Rare card.

Sorare assets are cards of soccer players.
Players are assigned a rarity, level, and card power.

SO5 Score shows the player's score in the most recent game (real game score).

Assets can be bought and sold in the in-game market without the need to pay for gas, although the feature to withdraw them outside the game is currently being prepared (scheduled for June 20).

When you register, you will first receive 10 Common Card assets.

Other new assets can be purchased at auctions, where you can buy new cards from the management, or from other managers (users) for a fixed price.
Look for players that you think will be active in the Transfer Market.

If you select NewCard, you can get new cards in auction format.
NewCard is sold in auction format.

From ManagerSales, you can buy cards from other managers.
ManagerSales sells cards at a fixed price.

Purchases can be made by paying with ETH through a wallet browser such as Metamask, or by credit card.

You can also earn assets based on your rank by entering SO5 games.

In the case of ETH, you can purchase ETH from a wallet browser, such as a browser that has installed Metamask, by first making a Deposit, and thereafter without the need to pay for gas.

From TransferMarket, select the card you want and press PlaceBid or BuyNow, and you will see a button to purchase with the card.
The payment will be made in Euro.
It seems that Stripe (a payment service like Paypal) is used for payment.

If you purchase an asset, you may not receive it immediately.
The difficulty is that you cannot see the transactions, etc., but they are being processed behind the scenes of the game.
If the amount of your deposit is decreasing, your bid or purchase was successful, so wait a bit. (In the case of auctions, the amount is reduced and then returned if another bidder appears.

This is a blockchain game that soccer lovers will love because they can predict various combinations based on the performance of individual players.

Although the layout and other aspects of the game still have a long way to go in terms of usability, the fact that it can be played by people who don't have any ETH at all, even though it is a blockchain game, shows great promise.
