On the other hand, "INFOBAR" is a mobile phone that was launched in 2003 as the first installment of the au Design project, and its innovative design garnered attention. The design, crafted by product designer Naoto Fukase, is highly praised for its design quality and has been permanently preserved in world-renowned art institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
In this collaboration, four types of NFT sneakers inspired by the "INFOBAR" series will be introduced, with 50 pieces of each design and a total of 200 pieces available for sale.

KDDI Corporation (hereafter KDDI) will sell 200 limited-edition NFT sneakers on the NFT marketplace "αU market" from 12 March 2025 (Wednesday), which are a "fusion" of the Web3 lifestyle application "STEPN" and the "INFOBAR" mobile phone that promotes "mobility". The NFT trainers "fused" with the "mobile (mobile phone)" INFOBAR will be available in a limited edition of 200 items from 12 March 2025 (Wednesday).
STEPN is a lifestyle application that promotes physical activity by allowing users to acquire NFT sneakers and earn cryptocurrency while enjoying walking and jogging.
Additionally, the mobile phone "INFOBAR" was released in 2003 as the first installment of the uA Design project with the initial model, and its innovative design made a significant impact on people. The design of the "INFOBAR" series was handled by product designer Naoto Fukai, and its design quality is highly acclaimed worldwide, including being selected as a permanent collection item at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA).
Now, KDDI is selling four types of NFT sneakers inspired by the "INFOBAR" series, available in the STEPN app. The number of sales is 50 units each, totaling 200 units (all OG sneakers).
Prior to the start of sales, from March 2, 2025 (Sunday) 20:00 to March 6 (Thursday) 9:00, a campaign will be held where participants can win pre-purchase rights to acquire NFT sneakers earlier than general sales through a lottery. Finally, among the customers who purchase the collaborative NFT sneakers this time, four people will be selected via lottery to receive limited edition design NFT sneakers.
