RATEL Corporation announced the hosting and official distribution of the esports tournament "GGL:PARAVOX VOL.1," which is open to everyone. The schedule from the qualifiers to the finals, as well as the tournament format and details of the luxurious prizes, have been released.
RATEL Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Masahiro Yamada) announced that it will host a public e-sports event called 'GGL:PARAVOX VOL.1' and conduct its official distribution. GGL:PARAVOX is an online tournament featuring the high-speed e-sports shooter 'PARAVOX', taking place on a platform spread wide, where players ranging from beginners to experienced participants can easily join and participate.

The tournament begins with preliminary rounds starting from September 11, and the finals are scheduled for September 28. The preliminaries are conducted over three weeks in a group round-robin format. All matches, including the loser's bracket and the championship tournament, are held online, enabling participation from anywhere.
The championship tournament involves the top teams from each preliminary round and one team advancing from the loser's bracket, forming a four-team tournament. The semifinals are carried out in a BO3 format, while the finals are held in a BO5 format. Stages used include Space and Neo City among a total of five agreed upon.
Winners of the tournament receive Amazon gift vouchers worth 10,000 yen distributed to three individuals, and runners-up are awarded gift vouchers worth 5,000 yen. Besides prizes, participants gain experience in the eSports scene and can test their skills in the strategically rich battles of PARAVOX.
'PARAVOX' is currently an open alpha version testing 3v3 arena battle shooting game available on Epic Games Store. Players choose a character 'Brand,' each with unique skills and attack styles, to compete in team battles. The rules, based on 'Point Capture,' utilize mobility abilities like 'Blink' and 'Double Jump' for exciting, speedy match developments that are highly appealing.
