On September 29, 2024, at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 held at Makuhari Messe, the special stage for the YGG Japan booth hosted an event called 'Kon Shikokushi Taisen Special Stage'. On the stage were Xi P, the producer and progenitor of the 'Kon Sangokushi Taisen' series, and Koshiro Sakamoto, who serves as the head of blockchain game development at the game's development company, double jump.tokyo. The company Sega has received a license for 'Sangokushi Taisen,' a genuine blockchain game developed by double jump.tokyo. Not only will the commanders from the arcade version of 'Sangokushi Taisen' appear, but also new commanders specially illustrated for this release. Planned for release in winter 2024 as a strategic autobattle game using commanders from Sangokushi, reborn as NFT cards.
